Neuroscience
Dogs have approximately 811 functional olfactory receptor genes — more than twice the number in humans. Their olfactory epithelium covers roughly 130 cm² of nasal tissue (compared to 3–4 cm² in humans), and their olfactory cortex is proportionally 40 times larger than ours.
This extraordinary sensitivity means dogs experience the world primarily through scent — and it means their olfactory processing system, while powerful, has a finite capacity for novel scent detection at any given moment.
This is the same principle behind olfactory adaptation — what most people call going "nose blind." Think of walking into a kitchen where chocolate chip cookies have been baking for ten minutes: you can still smell everything in the room, but the cookie smell no longer demands your attention or changes your behavior. Not Again™ makes your dog nose blind to foul smells before the walk begins, so the dead animal or pile of poop on the trail simply doesn't trigger the rolling instinct.
Not Again™ uses this mechanism deliberately. By applying a precisely engineered botanical scent complex to your dog's coat before a walk, the formula makes your dog nose blind to foul smells before they're encountered. Dogs roll in strong, pungent scents as an instinctual behavior rooted in their wolf ancestry. The leading hypothesis is that this behavior serves as a form of scent communication — a way to carry information about their environment back to the pack. Critically, the drive is not triggered by the smell itself. It is triggered by the dog's own scent profile being insufficiently complex or nose blind to it. A dog that is already nose blind to a rich, layered botanical scent profile has no biological imperative to add to it.

Not Again™ delivers a precisely engineered, multi-layered scent profile directly to your dog's coat. The formula is designed to give your dog a complex arrangement of familiar botanical scents — botanical aromatic compounds — not to smell "good" by human standards, but to satisfy the dog's biological scent-drive threshold. The coconut fruit extract (Cocos Nucifera) is derived from the fruit, not the nut protein, and is generally well-tolerated by dogs with coconut sensitivities — however, if your dog has a documented coconut allergy, consult your veterinarian before use.

Not Again™ is not tested on animals. Efficacy testing is conducted through voluntary field trials with dog owners.
Application: 4–6 sprays to the neck and chest, 5–10 minutes before heading outdoors. Hold bottle 6–8 inches from coat. Do not spray directly into eyes, ears, or mouth.
Scent: No scent to you. All science for them. The formula is engineered for your dog's olfactory system — most owners notice little to no scent within minutes of application.
Frequency: Safe for daily use. Reapply after 3–4 hours for extended outings or hunting days.
Storage: Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Do not freeze. Shelf life is 24 months from manufacture date (printed on bottle base).
Age: Recommended for dogs 12 weeks and older. For puppies under 12 weeks or dogs with known skin conditions, consult your veterinarian before use.

Packaging: The 2 oz bottle is made from amber glass — infinitely recyclable and inert. The spray pump mechanism contains plastic components; remove the pump before recycling the glass bottle through your local glass recycling program.
Disposal: Empty bottles can be rinsed and recycled through standard glass recycling. Do not pour unused product down storm drains. If disposal of unused product is necessary, dilute with water and dispose via household drain (formula is biodegradable and safe for standard wastewater treatment).
